MOORE COUNTY
Village of Pinehurst
Thursday, July 3 Concert & Fireworks
Gates open at 4 p.m. at the Pinehurst Harness Track.
The night features a high-energy performance by Liquid Pleasure, children’s activities, and a variety of local food trucks and vendors. Activities kick off at 6 p.m., with fireworks launching around 9:15 p.m.
Friday, July 4 Independence Day Parade & Farmers Market
The festivities continue Friday morning in the Village Center with the annual parade. Pets lead the parade at 9:45 a.m., followed by all other entries at 10 a.m.
After the parade, stay and enjoy the Sandhills Farmers Market in Tufts Memorial Park, featuring local farms, nurseries, bakeries, cheesemakers, and more.
The park is wheelchair accessible, has picnic tables, and shade and is child friendly.

Friday, July 4 Independence Day The Rotary Club features a well-known and long-loved parade beginning at 11 a.m.
The sidewalks are wheelchair friendly. Bring your own shade.
Aberdeen
Friday, July 4 Independence Day in Aberdeen features one of the largest fireworks displays in our area. This family-friendly evening includes live entertainment, children’s activities and a variety of food vendors! Kid Zone, free thanks to sponsorship by Fidelity Bank, allows your child access to the rock climbing wall, inflatable slides, bounce houses, obstacle course, and more. Please bring blankets and lawn chairs for your own comfort. Pets, alcoholic beverages, personal fireworks, and coolers are not allowed.
Kidzone: 5 p.m.-8 p.m. (Free, thanks to sponsorship by Fidelity Bank)
The Sand Band performs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Fireworks begin at approximately 9:15 p.m.
LEE COUNTY
Sanford
Friday, July 4 Independence Day Freedom Fest offersan evening of live music, food, and family fun that concludes with a fireworks display at Kiwanis Park.
Freedom Fest kicks off at 5 p.m. with a performance by JM Phillips, followed by headliner Caroline Keller at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin shortly after 9 p.m. with the best views from the park’s great lawn. The event wraps up at 10 p.m.
This location is wheelchair accessible, has some shelters for shade, is child friendly, and will populate quickly. Arrive early and play in the water sprinklers.
HARNETT COUNTY
Lillington
Friday, July 4 Independence Day Lillington offers fireworks, food, live entertainment, carnival rides, a BMX stunt show, and the All Veterans Group at Lillington River Park, 151 East Duncan Street, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
