Lillington announces Veterans Day Parade

Ernest Simmons VFW Post 6722 proudly announces the annual Veterans Day Parade, scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in downtown Lillington along W. Front/S. Main Streets. Lineup will begin at 9:00 a.m. and following the parade, food and drinks will be served at Ernest Simmons VFW Post 6722 located at 409 S. Main Street. This year’s parade has come together with the help of the Harnett County Veterans Council and many others. 

The parade will honor the service and sacrifice of America’s veterans and active-duty military personnel. Local organizations, schools, veterans organizations and civic groups are encouraged to participate in the event as the community comes together to pay tribute to those who have served our nation.
