Free Veterans Legal Clinic at Campbell University serves Moore, Lee and Harnett

Campbell University School of Law began a no-cost Veterans Legal Clinic for low-income veterans in mid-2025.

North Carolina State Bar-certified students provide the services under the supervision of adjunct professor Sebastian Kielmanovich.

The legal clinic is open to veterans facing criminal charges and administrative litigation, such as less than honorable discharges. Law students help with post-traumatic stress disorder, especially when related to deployment. Alcohol and substance abuse used to manage undiagnosed conditions can result in issues such as impaired driving. The clinic also helps in increasing veterans’ benefits.
