Harnett County to review 322-home major subdivision proposal

With the upcoming move of the Lee County Libraries’ Main Library to its new location at 1740 Bragg Street next to OT Sloan Park, the County is moving forward with the sale of the current property on Hawkins Avenue.
Located at 107 Hawkins Avenue within a short walk to the heart of downtown Sanford, this masonry constructed building with a distinct architectural style offers 19,246 square feet of conference/meeting rooms, offices, and flex space. The building is located on 1.34 acres and is served by public utilities including water, sewer, natural gas, electricity, telephone, and internet.
The property is offered for a sale price of $3,850,000.00. The building will be available for occupancy following the construction and transition of library operations to the new location.
