Sandhills Community College to offer pre-employment training with PTT at Hoke Center
November 5, 2026

You are invited to attend The Place to Heal’s upcoming Community Penny Fair on March 21, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. , at 715 N Horner Blvd. in Sanford. This special event is designed to promote independence, accessibility, and dignity for individuals and families in our community.
During the Penny Fair, gently used donated items will be available for just one penny each. This unique approach allows attendees to select and purchase items tailored to their needs and preferences, reinforcing autonomy and providing a meaningful purchasing experience. Items may include clothing, shoes, household goods, appliances, technology, furniture, books, décor, toys, and more.
The Penny Fair is a celebration of community support and empowerment and an opportunity for neighbors to find valuable items while fostering connection and self-sufficiency.
We encourage all members of the community to join us and take part in an event that uplifts, supports, and inspires one penny at a time.
If you are interested in donating to the penny fair or would like to find out more information about the event, please feel free to contact The Place to Heal at 919-776-4000 or email us at info@theplacetooheal.com.
