Saint Luke UMC – Sanford NC is hosting “Beloved” – a Women’s Spring Luncheon” on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Saint Luke United Methodist Church (Sanford, NC). It’s an event for women like none other, and we want you to be there! On Saturday, April 25 the Saint Luke UMC Women’s Events and Retreats Committee (Beverly Suitt, chair) will host “Beloved” – a Central North Carolina Women’s Spring Inspirational Luncheon from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. Our special guest speaker is J. Dana Trent, graduate of Duke University, ordained minister, faculty member at Wake Technical Community College, and author of numerous books including her memoir, “Between Two Trailers.” Dana will inspire you as she shares her story of living in poverty with drug dealing parents, how she survived and eventually made peace with the people and places that shaped her. Dana’s memoir will be available for purchase and signing.
Lunch will be catered by Mrs. Lacy’s Magnolia House!
Our goal for this Spring Luncheon is to offer beautiful fellowship, community inspiration, and faith-filled encouragement to women in central North Carolina.
