Sandhills Community College Prepares for 5K

Community members are invited to lace up their shoes for the Sandhills Community College Sandhills 5K and Fun Run to be held on Saturday, Sep. 26 at 9 a.m. in Pinehurst. The race will start on campus and run through the scenic Southern Pines Reservoir Park Trail. Fur friends are invited to join their humans in the fun. The race is open to all paces and ages.

What’s in store: T-Shirt deadline – register by Sept. 6 to guarantee an official race shirt; post-race massages & 360-degree photo booth fun; local food trucks, coffee, and vendors; dog-friendly trail run; chip-timed results & race awards.

Registration stays open through race morning, but shirt sizes aren’t guaranteed after Sept. 6. The start is behind Logan Hall at the Sandhills Community College campus, 3395 Airport Rd, Pinehurst, NC.
