“The recent precinct changes in Harnett County are aimed at improving the voting experience for our residents. By splitting the large Barbecue and Anderson Creek precincts, we can reduce wait times and ease congestion at the polls. Additionally, minor adjustments in Johnsonville, Lillington, and Stewarts Creek were made to align precinct lines with main roads, making it easier for voters to identify their correct polling place,” said Claire Jones, Board of Elections Director.
For more information on precinct changes, voters may contact the Harnett County Board of Elections at BoardofElections@harnett.org or (910) 893-7553.
