There’s genocide in black Africa! Do African-Americans care?

In America, Jews care about Jews. In Israel. Arabs, especially Palestinian Arabs, care about Arabs in the Middle East. Even the American Irish and Armenians see themselves as guardians of their ethnic groups in Ireland and Armenia. So, why don’t African-Americans care about black people in Africa? The sad situation is that almost no one does. Black lives in Africa don’t matter, even to most black Americans of African descent.
It hardly ever makes the news. There’s a war in the Eastern African nation of Sudan. Mostly dark skinned black farmers are being “ethnically cleansed” from the area called Darfur and the rest of Sudan. The killing and “racial purification” is spearheaded by lighter-skinned, often nomadic Arabs. It’s a race war against indigenous Africans.

Over the past four years, some estimate 250,000 Sudanese have died. By comparison, the Gaza death toll is only about 1/4 of that number. And except for possibly a few deaths of Israeli Jewish soldiers of Ethiopian descent; no blacks died there.
That is not to say particular ethnic groups must only concern themselves with “their own kind.” But an actual lack of interest in one’s own people is still rather shocking.

Nigeria is another black African nation where the death of black people doesn’t seem to matter. The “Boko-Haram Conflict” there is responsible for approximately 350,000 direct and indirect deaths. Most everyone there is black. But few African-Americans seem particularly concerned about that war either.
It’s all repeated throughout sub-Saharan Africa. The “War in the Sahel” is killing thousands of black people in the nations of Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso. The case is the same in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where M23 Rebels and the Rwandan army carried out killings, rapes and abductions during a month-long occupation of the Uvira area in late 2025 and early 2026. The conflict and the killing continue to this day.
To all of this we can also add Somalia. And still American black leaders are mostly obsessed with the chant, “Free Palestine.”

For instance, black Congressional Representative Cori Bush recently stated that “The fight for black lives and the fight for Palestinian liberation are interconnected”. Yet this author, even when aided by AI, could not find a definitive statement made by Bush regarding the war deaths of blacks in Africa. Meanwhile, her statements on Taiwan and Ukraine are omnipresent within international politics.

It’s “Antisemitism 101”. The world is obsessed with 16 million Jews over the 8 billion earthly inhabitants, including 1.6 billion blacks. The London School of Economics makes that clear. Their researchers looked at the imbalance of news coverage between the War in Gaza and the War in Sudan. It found that for every article about black people dying in Sudan, 4 articles were written about Jews and Palestinians in Gaza. To the world, at least 75% of the time, black lives don’t matter. That disinterest has sadly caused even African-Americans to devalue black African civilization.

Still, some Americans do take an interest in the global killing field that plagues the black people of Africa. Should it be surprising that Donald Trump leads that effort?

Trump actually negotiated peace agreements between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda, between Egypt and Ethiopia, and among the many factions involved in the Sudan conflict. Sure, his success was mixed. But he tried and succeeded after American blacks and their Democrat allies ignored the daily massacres. Will black leaders in America ever realize that when they abdicated the survival of black civilization to Donald Trump; he actually did something to reverse their neglect.
In the 2018 video below, Paul Ndiho and Shaka Ssali discuss how African leaders must sincerely care for their people, in order to represent them well on the world stage, rather than caring only for themselves and their families and friends.
African American leaders are oblivious to the 10,000 American blacks who are killed by other American blacks each year. Instead, they concentrate on the 302 blacks killed each year in police encounters. In fact, blacks are killed at a lower rate than whites for each violent crime arrest in the United States. Whites experience 1 death per 428 violent arrests, while blacks experience 1 death per 521 violent arrests.
In short, while racism of blacks against whites and whites against blacks persists in the United States, blacks in America are treated at least commensurate with the majority population in the critical aspects of life. But elsewhere in this world, the black race is being killed in genocidal proportions. While most Americans rightly believe that black lives do matter and black lives should matter, black lives will only matter when African-Americans join with Donald Trump. Together, led by President Trump, African-Americans should appreciate that black lives matter as much in Africa as, contrary to progressive propaganda, black lives really do matter in the United States.
